There are a lot ways to learn English, like going to school and language training centers. However, as we all know sometimes we just learn English language by watching films or listening to music. Here are some tips of learning English language in a fun way.
- Watch videos or movies: Watching videos or movies really helps us to learn the pronunciations of words and dialogues. Usually in cartoons the main characters have catch phrases like “To infinity and beyond” — Buzz Light-year, these phrases are catchy and it sticks in children’s mind. Without knowing, kids start to mimic the words and it helps them to recognize foreign spelling or speaking.
- Listening to music: Like watching films or videos, listening to music has the same effect on learning new words. If the tune is catchy then it is most likely to learn at least one of the words that the singer is singing. Often people sing their favorite songs even if they cannot sing and this also helps them to memorize foreign words.
- Have a foreign friends: Having a foreign friends is one of the key factors of learning language. If your friends English language well then you are in luck, mostly your friend will try to speak with you in English and this inspires you to learn more and stay in touch with your friend. If your friend doesn’t know English language then you can utilize English language to communicate with your friend, and it will be perfect way to learn the language together.
- Don’t get shy: Just don’t get shy, people usually get shy although their grammar, hearing and writings are good. If you don’t use your new learnt language by speaking then what is the point. Try to speak even if you make mistakes, it is completely OK to make mistakes and you can even get better at learning language by correcting your mistakes.
- Read a book: Reading books and especially graded reader (Extensive reading) books will dramatically increase your language learning abilities. Extensive reading is a method unlike intensive that helps the reader to understand more without much effort. Extensive reading is a language teaching procedure where learners are supposed to read large quantities of material or long texts for global understanding, the principal goal being obtaining pleasure from text (Bamford, Extensive reading Activities 1). So grab your books and read.
